# Youth & Community Focus: Navaratri Gift: Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari Unveils New Community Projects, Enrolls 400+ Youths for Skill Training

**JHARSUGUDA:** On the auspicious occasion of the first day of Navaratri, Odisha Revenue Minister **Suresh Pujari** launched a series of major development projects for his constituency, promising comprehensive growth and infrastructural upgrades within his current term.

As part of the developmental blitz, Minister Pujari inaugurated a **new community center at Gandhi Chowk** and the renovated, historically significant **drama pandal in Brajrajnagar**, which had long been in a dilapidated condition. Aiming to boost local economy and education, he also laid the foundation stones for a **modern market complex** and a **state-of-the-art library** dedicated to local children. In Lajkura, a **grand gaushala (cow shelter)** was officially inaugurated to promote animal welfare in the region.

Boost for Youth Employment and Infrastructure

Focusing on youth empowerment, a mass youth gathering was organized in Lakhanpur. During the event, **over 400 local youths were enrolled for specialized skill training**, backed by a formal assurance of subsequent employment placements in nearby factories.

On the infrastructure front, the Minister announced the official commencement of the **₹2,100 crore expansion of National Highway 49**, which will widen the stretch from Kanktura to Jharsuguda into a four-lane highway. Furthermore, he declared that the highly anticipated **bridge over the Ib River** is nearing completion and will be officially inaugurated within a month.

Invoking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance mantra—*"Inaugurate the very project for which the foundation stone was laid"*—Pujari reaffirmed his administration's commitment to timely execution, assuring residents that all local demands would be strictly fulfilled during his tenure.
