**BHUBANESWAR:** Odisha Chief Minister [Shri Mohan Charan Majhi](https://www.google.com/search?kgmid=%2Fg%2F11ck88v52w&q=Shri+Mohan+Charan+Majhi) chaired a high-level emergency meeting at the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) office's Emergency Control Room to evaluate the ground reality following the impact of Cyclone Arnab. The administration has heavily prioritised assessing structural damage, expediting ongoing rescue operations, and streamlining the delivery of immediate relief material to the affected population.

During the review, Chief Minister Majhi issued clear directives to senior leadership, emphasizing that grassroots-level administrative preparedness must be heavily reinforced. The state government has mandated seamless, cross-departmental coordination to handle the crisis without delays. Personnel from the Odisha Disaster Response Action Force (ODRAF), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and Fire Services remain heavily engaged in restoring essential utilities, including electricity and drinking water.

The Revenue and Disaster Management Department, alongside State **Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari**, reaffirmed the administration’s core directive of absolute civic safety. Officials stated that the entire state machinery is fully mobilized to ensure all necessary financial and material assistance reaches displaced and affected citizens immediately.
